Research & risk

Research disclosures.

My research reflects my views at the time of writing. These are the risks, limitations and potential conflicts to keep in mind when reading it. Published by Stoic_research. Updated 10 October 2026.

General research information.

Reports and updates discuss markets, assets and investment ideas for general information. They do not take account of an individual reader’s objectives, experience, financial position or capacity for loss. They are not investment or trading advice, personalised recommendations, trade signals, tax or legal advice, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell a financial instrument. No investment execution or copy-trading service is provided.

Each reader is responsible for assessing relevance, checking supporting information and making their own decisions. Where needed, seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional who understands your circumstances.

Capital is at risk.

Prices can move against a thesis, and capital can be lost. Leverage and derivatives can magnify losses. Short positions can expose an investor to losses beyond the capital initially allocated. FX exposures introduce exchange-rate and funding risks; liquidity and counterparty conditions can affect the ability to transact at expected prices.

An investment thesis, price target or scenario is not a promise of an outcome. A membership or access to research does not guarantee investment returns.

Dates, assumptions and forecasts.

Opinions and assessments relate to the publication or update date shown. Markets and underlying facts can change. Source data may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate, and forecasts and estimates can fail. Reports combine sourced facts with the author’s interpretations, estimates, assumptions and speculative forward-looking scenarios. Those scenarios theorize about possible futures; they are not instructions to act or assured outcomes. Read each type of statement in its stated context.

The thesis timeline preserves the original view and subsequent assessments. Source dates on migrated original papers do not establish a live position or a historical portfolio return.

Sources, holdings and conflicts.

Author identity, sources, methods, assumptions, horizon and relevant risks belong with the research. Any material holding, financial interest, sponsorship or commercial relationship relevant to an instrument or issuer should be identified in the affected report or update. This general notice does not establish the existence or absence of a particular holding or relationship.

Publishing investment ideas can carry obligations that depend on the content and applicable rules. A generic disclaimer does not replace those obligations. ESMA explains that public ideas about buying or selling instruments or composing a portfolio may constitute investment recommendations, with requirements for attribution, objective presentation and conflicts disclosure. Original reports and historical prices.

The six original PDFs migrated on 8 October 2026 are preserved unchanged. Their displayed research dates come from the documents, rather than the migration date or an independently verified prior-site publication timestamp. An HTML reading overview and source-page references accompany each original. The October paper specifies only a month; no publication day or trading time has been inferred.

The September portfolio paper discloses holdings as of its stated date. Those historical interests do not establish current holdings, executed trades, or the completeness of all present commercial relationships. Other papers’ company discussions do not automatically create positions or portfolio changes. Conditional setups retain their stated conditions.

Any displayed historical price change uses the exact listed instrument, a stated observation window and linked price evidence. Raw closing-price changes exclude distributions, investor costs and currency effects and are not verified total returns. Corporate-action adjustment is unconfirmed. The original September weights sum to 100.01% because of source rounding. At the author’s request on 9 October 2026, PSH and the Avanza USA / Spiltan sleeve are excluded from the website model and observation table. The remaining 11 equity weights total 93.92%, with a disclosed residual 6.08% assigned to cash. The selection differs from the complete original PDF portfolio; the cash residual also resolves the 0.01 percentage-point source rounding excess. No full original-portfolio return or benchmark outperformance is claimed.

The model portfolio has not started.

No actual executed investment track record or outperformance is presented. The proposed index will describe hypothetical model results once its inception date, instruments, allocations, execution rules, valuation data and cost assumptions have been established.

Model results can differ from an investor’s experience because of trading constraints, liquidity, slippage, financing, short borrowing, transaction costs, taxes and timing. Any series needs to explain which costs are included, how gross and net results are defined, and the limits of its assumptions. A mixed-asset long/short model can have materially different risks from an equity benchmark. Historical or simulated results do not guarantee future returns.

For US investment advisers covered by its marketing rule, the SEC describes requirements concerning balanced risk presentation and performance information, including hypothetical results. This notice does not determine the publisher’s regulatory status or claim compliance. Read the SEC’s marketing guide ↗

My portfolio and private discussions.

I discuss my own portfolio, changes and reasoning with private members. Those posts reflect my circumstances and may be delayed or incomplete. They are not instructions to copy my trades or advice for your financial circumstances. Direct contact and community discussion do not include personalised investment recommendations or trading signals.

I may hold or trade assets discussed in the research, and my interests may differ from yours. Material holdings and conflicts should be disclosed with the relevant report or update. My portfolio commentary is separate from the public research model. It is not an independently verified or audited account performance record.

The nature of the content and service determines applicable obligations. Calling content “not investment advice” does not remove those obligations. This page does not certify regulatory status or guarantee legal compliance. Read Finansinspektionen’s finfluencer guidance ↗

External membership checkout.
